Taylor Waite, M.Ed.
My name is Taylor Waite and I graduated from Cambridge College in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with individuals and groups of all ages, in a variety of settings, including private practice, school settings, residential settings, and community based mental health settings.
My therapy style is person centered and focused on helping individuals identify and create a sense of autonomy while utilizing different therapeutic interventions, such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and Cognitive Restructuring. My previous experience with Case Management has helped me identify available resources and services for my clients to help with the impact of psychosocial stressors, to promote a healthy and safe therapeutic experience and space.
My goal as a therapist is to highlight that every client’s experience is unique and valid. We will explore different techniques to help with life transitions, anxiety, stress, and depression. I understand that seeking and starting therapy is a big step, I am happy to be chosen to be part of your healing journey.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, my rescue dogs, reading mystery and thrillers and exploring New England’s lakes and beaches. I will never say no to an opportunity to try a new coffee or ice cream spot!
