Bekah Riley, M.A.
My name is Bekah and I graduated from Assumption University in 2024 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Following the completion of my degree, I have gained experience working collaboratively with individuals and groups in an outpatient mental health setting for adults. I have additional experience in school settings supporting children and adolescents in special educational and behavioral programs. I have primarily worked with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and/or substance use.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship, in addition to evidence-based practices, supports positive therapeutic outcomes. My primary theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy, but I frequently utilize motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, and person-centered therapy as well. The interventions I implement are dependent on you and your goals as I believe therapy is individualistic and person-centered.
